The Roles of the ministry

The Youth Ministry consists of four departments and three cooperating departments.  The four departments are All Starts (English-speaking middle school), Joshua Generation (English-speaking high school), Agape (Korean-speaking middle and high school), and Youth Music.  They are being trained to become mature Christians through Sunday worships, small group Bible studies, discipleship training, Friday meetings, Saturday dawn prayer meetigs, praise. and Words under the guidance of pastors.

The three cooperating departments are CIA (Korean middle and high school bible study class), parents prayer group, and PTA. The parents prayer group meet on Friday evenings to pray for their children.

Operation Policy/Operation Direction/Plans

  1. All Stars, JG & Agape hold weekly Friday meetings, Saturday dawn prayer meetings, and Sunday worships.  In addition, they hold one-day retreats, summer/winter retreats, Family Worship, open house, True Love Waits Banquet, Senior Banquet, Inner City Missions, various sporting events. The youth from All Stars, JG & Agape volunteer to help with short-term mission and Children's Ministry.

  2. There is weekly Friday parents prayer meetings and intercession prayer meetings for youth on Sunday mornings.  Also, teachers and leaders are trained through departmental teachers' training, education department's kick-off meetings, leadership meetings, and external educational programs.
