Network Development

Network Gifts Development ministry is a training program to help believers serve effective by finding their spiritual gifts and qualities.

Believers can serve with joy and passion when they find their own gifts and realize in what ministry field God has called them to work.? Miinistry can be rewarding and bear valuable fruit.

The Willow Creek Community Church in the Chicago suburbs have developed and successfully implemented Network ministry as a training program for church services.? Through the Network ministry 5000 volunteers are secured and serve in various Church ministries. The Network training ministry has been introduced to KCPC after some pastors and elders from our church attended the Willow Creek Community Church's training ministry.  KCPC translated training materials into Korean and the training was first offered to families of the pastor and the elders in October 1995.  After that, the Network training was offered to all church members.

Network training is a three-step process.  In the first step, individuals discover the self image God has given them.  In the second step individuals find the appropriate ministry within the church through consultation. and in the third step they are placed in the appropriate ministry and receive the necessary practical training, after which they serve in the church ministry.

The self-discovery in Step 1 is called the volunteer's profile.  The volunteer's profile consists of three elements through which volunteers discover three kinds of images.  First, they discover where their passion is, second, what Holy Spirit gifts they have, and third, what kind personal style they have.  The goal of the Network ministry is for the volunteers to serve after the process of finding out their volunteers' profile and receiving necessary training ater being placed in the appropriate church ministry after consultation with pastors .

Current Network Training ministry is being carried out in 4-week program.
